My art focuses at large on creating unique imagery and experiences that deal with aspects of memory, identity, language, symbolism, mythology and history. In my work I aim to bring together diverse and socially charged objects and materials, through multimedia techniques. Any item or visual could spark an idea of art representing a human experience, and vice versa. My approach is rooted in-depth cultural and geographical research of concepts and materials, followed by sketches of the re-imagined visual, before moving on to a hands-on creation of a sculpture, a painting, video, installation or, as of late online work.
